Deer Hunts

Deer hunts are for archery and black powder seasons only. Our deer hunt packages include 5 days of hunting with 6 nights of lodging. The hunt packages include food, lodging, and transportation to your stand. We will help with retrieval and field dressing of the animal, caping available at an extra charge. Meat processing can also be arranged with a nearby processor with a walk-in cooler and quick-freeze freezer.  Hunters will arrive the afternoon or evening before the first day of hunting.  Hunters will be briefed on the hunt area and plan for the morning hunt. Supper will be served that evening. A pre-dawn breakfast from the Eagle’s Landing restaurant will be served each day. Hunters will be provided a box lunch to eat in the field, and supper will be served each evening. Bear and deer hunters may take advantage of bird hunts at a discounted rate.  Sauna facilities are open to hunters throughout the stay. Check-out will be at noon the final morning after breakfast.
 

-Hunt Details-

Each hunter will have 200 acres or more with 8 – 10 acre food plots. No hunter will be with-in ½ mile of any other hunter, unless suggested otherwise by our expert guide. Food plots consist of rye, soybeans, alfalfa, rape, and clover. Two stands (ladder stands and/or ground blinds) will be set up in pre-scouted locations to give each hunter an option for prevailing winds. Per hunter’s request, we will assist in repositioning any stand for the next day’s hunt. We have a eight point minimum size for bucks.

Archery season runs from mid September until the end of December. Black Powder season runs the first two weeks of December. Please check the Minnesota DNR website for licensing information. Large groups and corporate outings are welcomed
